Vitol

The Vitol Group is made up of separate companies engaged in a variety of commodity and financial businesses. It is privately owned by its employees worldwide. Its employees are seasoned oil professionals who possess the specialist knowledge and expertise to be able to provide a full service in all aspects of oil transportation, refining, distribution, marketing, trading and finance. Their individual skills are reinforced by the strength of the team spirit that characterises the Vitol Group.

Management is decentralised. All offices are run locally by managers familiar with the country or region for which they are responsible. In addition to regional managers, commodity, finance and investment in-house specialists with in depth knowledge are located around the globe.

With headquarters in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and Geneva, Switzerland, the Vitol Group also has trading entities in Houston, Bahrain and Singapore, which between them provide 24-hour coverage of all the world’s oil markets including London, Houston and Singapore. A network of offices in other key business centres throughout the world enables our staff to build lasting local relationships and to provide support services to our trading entities.
